Custom tailoring and fine detail is my signature. Haute Couture is what sets me apart from other designers, because of my use of style and my ability to bridge the gap between anatomy and strong eloquent design lines.
I studied art at the University Of The District of Columbia, later relocated to Atlantic City,NJ to be closer to the major fashion industry both in New York and Philadelphia. Worked as
a wardrobe tailor for several years while launching my first label called Dmaster Designs. My first showing was in the Philadelphia Dress the world Exposition in 1988. A local competition showcasing the areas best designers.
My first collection won the award for best creativity in the daywear category. The second year I introduced menswear. Combining custom tailored suites and seperates made with fine fabrics. While developing a following of upscale clients, I began to be recognized as an innovative designer in the tri-state area. Followed by a series of trade shows, exhibitions, awards, notoriety and press; I developed my second label called Play kicks Childrenswear. Designing for boys and girls sizes 4-12 sportswear, active wear and eveningwear.
Currently residing in Charlotte, NC I am incorporating all of my lines under one umbrella called Dale Patrick Designs. Dale Patrick Designs will custom tailor high end clothing for men, women and children's one of a kind garments.
My latest project is this line of hats and accessories to be distributed in various stores nationwide.
